SHAKEDOWN: July 20th RESULTS

Our show opened this week in Murphy’s Pub, were Irish Dan Murphy was standing by with a fired up Sik Rik Matrix. Matrix filled with emotion promised to Pier 6 that there would be no more dancing, and no more playing around. Matrix stated that this was his town and there was nothing anybody could do about it.  Just then Cody Deaner entered our screen, blind siding Rik with that infamous chain of his. Deaner then walked away with a smile from ear to ear as Matrix laid stiff on the floor, clenching his jaw in pain.

We are then taken back to the ring were Ed Delaney was about to face one of the biggest men in the P6W locker room, Eric Everlast. Delaney started the match with great intensity giving everything he had, although his strikes did not seem to effect the much bigger Everlast. Eric quickly gained the upper hand landing a vicious knee to the sternum of Delaney. Eric went for a cover, but would not let the referee count to 3. He decided to torment Ed a little more before putting an end to the match; hitting the young Delaney with both a spinning heel kick, and a colossal choke slam.

Match 1
Ed Delaney vs. “The Exceptional Icon” Eric Everlast
Winner by pin fall: Eric Everlast

Our second match was very highly anticipated, as Andrew Davis would be taking on the one and only “Big Rig” Brodie Lee. Davis would with out a doubt have his hands full with Lee. However in a pre match interview with Rob Sanderson, Davis said he wanted to prove to the world that he can go toe to toe with anybody who steps in front of him. The match lived up to its hype from the moment the bell rang, each man jockeying for position. Until finally Big Rig began to throw his weight around; he dragged Andrew from one side of Pineapple Jacks to another. As the two made their way back to the ring, Davis began showing some signs of life. Hitting Brodie with a helicopter spin, followed by with a huge german suplex. Just as we thought the tables had turned, Lee snapped out of it, planting Davis with his signature big boot.

Match 2
Andrew Davis vs. “Big Rig” Brodie Lee
Winner by pin fall: Brodie Lee
