SHAKEDOWN: July 27th RESULTS

SHAKEDOWN this week began with a recap of the ongoing conflict between ‘Sik’ Rik Matrix and Cody Deaner. Dan Murphy is in the parking lot of Pineapple Jack’s, and says that he received a text message from Matrix that said “meet me in the parking lot.” A U-Haul truck speeds onto screen, with Matrix at the wheel. Matrix says hes not playing around anymore. Sik Rik opens up the back of the U-Haul revealing a STEEL CAGE! Matrix says the execution of Cody Deaner is coming. Will Deaner accept the cage match?

In the ring, it’s a battle of factions as The O’Sullivan Clan’s Mikhail Ruminov takes on The Mayor from the Bum Fight Club. Both of these men are making their Pier 6 Wrestling debuts. The Mayor tries to attack the big Russian from behind, but Ruminov just manhandles the smelly, dirty Mayor. O’Sullivan Clan member Eric Everlast sneaks in some shots on the Mayor on the outside of the ring while referee Mike Champion is distracted. Ruminov just pummels The Mayor, and chokes him out with a modified cobra clutch. The bell rings, but Mikhail keeps beating up on the Mayor.

Match 1

Mikhail Ruminov vs. The Mayor
Winner by submission: Mikhail Ruminov

Ed Delaney is backstage with Rob Sanderson. A bandaged-up Delaney says his first match could’ve gone better, but he’s not going to stop his quest of becoming a professional wrestler. Sanderson then informs Delaney of his opponent next week on SHAKEDOWN: ‘Big Rig’ Brodie Lee! Delaney walks off screen shocked and nervous.

Back to the ring, a battle of New York natives as Troy Buchanan is about to take on Jonny Puma. Referee Dan Kriegbaum checks Puma for foreign objects and finds make up! Puma applies some makeup, then goes out and heckles the crowd, including Kid Justice who again is sitting in the front row, taking in all the action as a loyal P6W fan. Puma then proclaims that beating Troy Buchanan is going to be as easy as taking candy from a baby, as Jonny climbs into the front row and takes a bag of candy from an infant sitting in the crowd! Buchanan shoves Puma, then picks up the candy and hands it out to the crowd. Puma and Troy battle in and out of the ring. The veteran Buchanan picks up some serious momentum but Puma comes back with a top-rope flying clothesline. Both men exchange some serious shots in this hard-hitting match. Puma hits a low-blow and The Killer Joke to get the win.

Match 2
Troy Buchanan vs. Jonny Puma
Winner by pinfall: Jonny Puma

Puma walks towards the announce position, and Cody Deaner comes out and grabs the mic. Deaner says he’s heard that Matrix showed up with a steel cage. Cody says Matrix might be bigger and stronger than him, but he’s not tougher than Cody Deaner. Cody says he is the toughest man in Pier 6 Wrestling. Puma says he’ll show the whole world who’s tough, because next week we’re going to have a steel cage match! Deaner accepts the challenge, and says “when all is said and done, I’m gonna’ get ‘er done!”

Next week on SHAKEDOWN: ‘Sik’ Rik Matrix vs. Cody Deaner inside a STEEL CAGE!
