SHAKEDOWN RESULTS
SHAKEDOWN: August 3rd RESULTS
Pier 6 Wrestling
Shakedown began this week with a recap of the events which have taken place over the past few weeks between Cody Deaner and
Rik Matrix. Commentators promised that this weeks STEEL CAGE main even will be an all out war. They then kick it over to Murphy’s
Pub were analyst Dan Murphy joined with Jonny Puma. Puma told Murph that if he was not scheduled to be in the main event,
then he was going to make his presence known by joining the announce team for climax of the feud between Matrix and Deaner.
As we are brought to the ring we find an eager Brodie Lee set to take on the young Ed Delaney. Before the introductions
even left the mouth of ring announcer Troy Driver Delaney found himself with a mouth full of Big Rig’s boot. With
that Lee picked up the quickest win in Pier 6 history. Just as Brodie was about to inflict more pain on Delaney, from the
commentators booth came John McChesney, clearing Lee from the ring. It was evident that he was fed up with Brodie’s
actions.
Match 1
Ed Delaney vs. “Big Rig” Brodie Lee
Winner by pin fall: Brodie Lee
Once again we were taken to Murphy’s Pub. This time joining Dan was the man who we just saw stick his neck out
to help Delaney, John McChesney. The two were talking about recent events which have taken place on Shakedown. When they were
interrupted by Brodie Lee. The two had a brief exchange, announcing that next week in our main even it would indeed
be “Big League” vs. “Big Rig”
Then it was on to our main event. The biggest match in Pier
6 Wresting history, a Steel cage match. This would be the culmination of the heated rivalry between Cody Deaner and “Sik”
Rik Matrix; which has been brewing for three weeks. Finally there would be nowhere for Deaner to run, except into the hands
of the crazed Matrix. However this match was not as one sided as expected. Deaner held his own quite well against the big
man. This match truly lived up to the hype, it was an all out battle for survival. Every inch of the cage was used as a weapon.
As Matrix attempted to ascended the cage, he was met at the top by guest commentator Jonny Puma. Although Puma did not have
much time to interfere, because out of the audience to Rik’s aid came Kid Justice. However this distraction gave Cody
the time he needed to grab a silver chain from his fanny pack. Yet this time “justice” truly was served as Matrix
had enough time to anticipate the loaded right hand of Deaner. Taking his chain and giving him a taste of his own medicine.
Rik’s chain shot Knocked Cody out cold, allowing Matrix to crawl out of the cage.
Match 2
Cody
Deaner vs. “Sik” Rik Matrix
Winner by escape: Rik Matrix
