SHAKEDOWN RESULTS
SHAKEDOWN: August 17th RESULTS
As
SHAKEDOWN went on the air this week, Jonny Puma was in the ring, heckling the crowd yet again, before turning his attention
to Kid Justice. Puma said that Justice was making a huge mistake by coming out of retirement – saying that Justice’s
comeback is “going to be just as short as Scotty Bender’s wee-wee.” Puma leaves the ring promising that
“everyone falls to the Killer Joke.”
We come back to the ring after break as ‘Sik’ Rik
Matrix is impatiently pacing around waiting to get his hands on The Mayor from the Bum Fight Club. The Mayor tries to hit
Matrix with his cardboard “will wrestle for food and change” sign, but Matrix isn’t phased and responds
by going on an all-out brutal attack of The Mayor in the center of the ring. ‘Big Rig’ Brodie Lee makes his way
out to ringside to watch the match – of course last week ‘Big Rig’ viciously attacked ‘Big League’
John McChesney in the parking lot, beat up Rob Sanderson with a tire iron, and then ran his mouth in the ring before scuffling
with a fed-up Matrix while most of the locker room tried to break things up. Well, this time Brodie seemed to keep his composure,
watching Matrix beat up on The Mayor. Mayor gets in no real offense in this contest, or lack-thereof. Matrix hits The Mayor
with a brainbuster, stares down Brodie (while Brodie mockingly applauds Matrix), and ‘Sik’ Rik gets the pinfall
victory.
Match 1
‘Sik’
Rik Matrix vs. The Mayor (Bum Fight Club)
Winner by pinfall: ‘Sik’ Rik Matrix
When SHAKEDOWN
returns from commercial, we’re shown that during the break ‘Big Rig’ continued his rampage, giving The Mayor
a violent big boot, before shoving referee Mike Champion to the ground.
Earlier today, ‘Lil Irish’
Paddy O’Sullivan had a chat with Troy Buchannan, after Mikhail Ruminov took referee Dan Kriegbaum away so he wouldn’t
hear the conversation. The conniving O’Sullivan told Troy they could both make a ton of money if Buchanan would take
a dive next week. Troy says he has too much pride for that, and money isn’t everything. O’Sullivan says “money
is the world - think about it, and I want your answer next week.”
We’re then taken to Murphy’s
Pub, where Dan Murphy talks about all the new faces arriving in Pier 6, and is joined by P6W newcomer Pepper Parks. Parks
cuts off Murph, saying that ‘nobody’s real name is Pepper, that’s the stupidest thing he’s ever heard;
his real name is Preston Wyatt Parks.’ The former NWA National Heavyweight Champion Parks says he can tell Murph just
doesn’t like him from the start, saying he gets that a lot. Preston says that people are jealous of him because he has
the “it factor.” Murphy then tosses to Rob Sanderson, standing by (on crutches, with an apparent knee injury thanks
to Brodie Lee) with The Caesar. The new crazy face in Pier 6 tells Sanderson that he’s building an empire, and it’s
all going to start next week. The Caesar doesn’t want to spoil the surprise as to who his agent of chaos is, but apparently
this mystery wrestler will be taking on fan-favorite rookie Ed Delaney next week on SHAKEDOWN. The Caesar sticks a blue playing
card in Sanderson’s knee brace, because he ‘has a really good doctor he wants Rob to see.’ Sanderson looks
very creeped out and confused as The Caesar chuckles his way away.
And now it was time for the main event –
the long-awaited match between the returning Kid Justice and loudmouth Jonny Puma – a match that has been building up
since the beginning of the inaugural episode of SHAKEDOWN. These two went all over the P6W arena in Pineapple Jack’s,
including Justice having fans and Scotty Bender spank Jonny Puma! These two brawled up to the rafters, before Puma was pushed
down the stairs on his chest like a surfboard. Back in the ring, Kid Justice locks Puma in the nagata lock #2 - the first
time, Puma gets to the ropes, but the second time is too much for Puma, as he taps out!
Match 2
Kid Justice vs. Jonny Puma
Winner by submission:
Kid Justice
Next week on SHAKEDOWN: ‘Sik’ Rik Matrix vs. ‘Big Rig’ Brodie Lee, plus The
Caesar debuts his agent of chaos!
