SHAKEDOWN:
September 7th RESULTS
SHAKEDOWN this week began with a history of the intense
feud between ‘Big Rig’ Brodie Lee and ‘Big League’ John McChesney. Today we will finally see
these two battle one-on-one inside the squared circle!
As
we head to the ring, it’s time for the first-ever tag team match in P6W history as The O’Sullivan Clan of Eric
Everlast and Mikhail Ruminov, with their manager Paddy O’Sullivan, took on the team of veteran Troy Buchanan and rookie
Ed Delaney. Ruminov and Buchanan would start the match, as the big Russian just tossed Troy around the ring. Ruminov tags
in Everlast who keeps Troy is the O’Sullivan Clan corner. Troy would fight back, and these two would go at it for a
while until they both make the tag. Delaney hits both O’Sullivan Clan members with some dropkicks before being chokeslammed
by Everlast and put in a modified cobra clutch by Ruminov, being forced to tap out.
Match 1
O’Sullivan Clan (Everlast & Ruminov) vs. Ed Delaney & Troy Buchanan
Winners by submission: O’Sullivan Clan
We then go
to the back for Murphy’s Pub. Dan Murphy discusses the P6W invitation-only policy; how wrestlers of all varieties have
inquired about joining Pier 6 Wrestling, but you must be invited to be a part of the action here in Pier 6 Wrestling. Murphy
sends it to Rob Sanderson, who is backstage with two new faces in Pier 6 Wrestling – the Society of Superstars: Doc
Czarniak, and his manager Superstar Rob Schulz. Schulz cuts off Sanderson, and says he’s the greatest manager that ever
lived, and he is headed to the top. Czarniak says he’s not in Pier 6 to make friends, he’s here to beat people
up. Doc asks who’s ready for a fight?
Back to the ring
we go for arguably the most anticipated match in P6W history, as Big League John McChesney takes on Big Rig Brodie Lee. These
two waste no time roughing each other up. These two battled their way out of the ring, with McChesney thrown very hard twice
into the steel ringside barriers. McChesney shows signs of some serious back pain from Brodie’s attack in the parking
lot 4 weeks ago, which were not helped out by two consecutive guillotine backbreakers from Big Rig, followed up by just stepping
on McChesney’s back. Brodie just taking it to the Fabulous one, until McChesney finally battles back starting with a
huge superkick. Brodie hits John with a (very) big boot, but somehow McChesney manages to get his foot on the rope to avoid
the pinfall. Big League miraculously gets the 6’7” Lee up for the Big League Drop, but Brodie kicks out at 2.
Big Rig hits referee Mike Champion with a big boot, he’s out of control! Brodie gets knocked out the ring as referee
Dan Kriegbaum comes to the ring. McChesney, looking to dive to the outside, is stopped by Kriegbaum, and McChesney levels
Kriegbaum! Big League then leaps from the top rope off the ring, off the stage, hitting a high crossbody block on Big Rig
who was over by the announce podium! Kriegbaum calls for the bell, and the match is ruled a double disqualification. Both
men put their hands on P6W officials; neither wrestler seems to care about anything other than annihilating the other.
Match 2
‘Big Rig’ Brodie Lee vs. ‘Big
League’ John McChesney
match ruled no contest (double disqualification)
How can Pier 6 get control of these two men, especially Brodie Lee who is just on an absolute
rampage with no regard for rules or regulations?
