SHAKEDOWN RESULTS

Nov. 30, 2008

The show opened with a re-cap of the matches Preston Wyatt Parks & Sik Rik Matrix won to get to
the P6W TV Title Tournament finals, concluding with Parks' controversial win over Matrix in the finals.

We then saw Preston Wyatt Parks in the ring with his title belt and his new manager, Classic Jay Moore.
Parks explained that his family wealth can get him the very best, and he got best manager available in Jay Moore.
The furcoat-wearing Moore admitted that he smashed Matrix in the head during the title match; he also stated Matrix had  no right to a rematch since it was a title tournament. Moore continued badmouthing Matrix, which led to Rik trying to charge the ring to get at Moore and Parks.  It took four referees to restrain Rik; while this occurred, Moore told Parks and the audience that he had arranged a "tough" challenger for Parks' first title defense- The winless
Ed Delaney!

On Murph's Pub, Dan Murphy caught up with Cody Deaner in the Men's Room at Pineapple Jack's.  Deaner was in a stall, where he indicated he was "dropping a deuce."  When Murph asked him about Brodie Lee, Deaner said that brodie is like $%@* in your stomach that just festers there. As for John McChessny, cody said that McChessny was the type of $#$^ that you can't get rid of, no matter how hard you wipe.  Cody left without washing his hands.

Rob Sanderson interviewed the Caesar. When asked if he was disappointed that he couldn't become Preston Wyatt Parks' manager, Caesar claimed that Parks was not "Empire material", and said he'd have a new "Agent of Order" (to accompany Spazz, his "Agent of Chaos") next week on P6W TV.

MATCH #1:  MIKHAIL RUMINOV vs. TROY BUCHANNAN

Eric Everlast joined Scotty Bender & Ivan the Impaler on TV Commentary. (Everlast, who is Ruminov's stablemate in the O'Sullivan Clan, admitted that it has been weeks since he's seen Paddy O'Sullivan.)  Ruminov used his strength advantage over Buchanan in the early going; however, Troy used a discus punch to knock Mikhail off his feet for a 2-count- the first 2-count ever against Ruminov in his North American career.  Ruminov regained momentum, and eventually locked Troy in a cobra clutch.  Troy escaped the maneuver with a mule kick to the groin, which went undetected by referee Andrew Mollon.  An enraged Everlast bolted towards the ring, but Scotty Bender grabbed him by the arm; Everlast pushed Bender to the floor.  Everlast then made it to the ring and started stomping on Troy, which led to the match being declared a "No Contest".  Ruminov was displeased with Everlast for arguably costing him a win, and when Eric left the ring, he issued a stern warning to Scotty Bender never to lay a hand on him again.  Bender and Ivan then argued as to whether Bender was justified in trying to stop Everlast from interfering.

DECISION- Match ruled  a "No Contest"

We then learned that a title match was confirmed for next week: Preston Wyatt Parks defends his TV belt against....Ed Delaney?

MATCH #2 - SPAZZ (w/ the Caesar) vs. ANDREW DAVIS

Frank Zimmerman joined Ivan and Scotty on TV Commentary.  When the bell rang, Caesar pulled the sack off Spazz's head, and the 141# whirling dervish was all over Davis, eventually taking him down with a series of kicks.  Even ref Mike Champion cowered in the corner when confronted by Spazz.  Davis had no idea how to defend against the extremely unorthodox Spazz, but momentum shifted when Davis kicked out of a 2-count, leaving Spazz bewildered and confused.  Caesar grabbed Davis from behind, but Davis moved out of the  way of the charging Spazz, sending Caesar tumbling to the ring apron.  Davis then hooked Spazz into his airplane spin, and after several revolutions that left both men dizzy, planted Spazz with a released German suplex that led to a sudden pinfall victory.

WINNER by pinfall- Andrew Davis

NEXT WEEK ON P6W  SHAKEDOWN TV:... Preston Parks defends his TV Title against Ed Delaney, plus Caesar debuts his new "Agent of Order".

  --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SHAKEDOWN: November 2nd results

The four participant's in today's quarter-final P6W TV Title Tournament matches all had something to say:

- Brodie Lee boasted that he'd be beating up on Kid Justice "all day..."
-Kid Justice countered by saying "Justice will prevail".
- Jonny Puma said Rik Matrix is "just a stepping stone....or maybe a boulder..." on Puma's way to the title.
- Sik Rik Matrix claimed he'll send Puima back to the comedy circut where he came from.

QUARTER-FINAL MATCH:   Big Rig Brodie Lee vs. Kid Justice

- The  smaller, yet more agile Kid Justice tried several pinning combinations early on; while unsuccessful, he seemed to have Big Rig off guard.  Kid even landed a crossbody off the top rope onto Brodie on the arena floor at pineapple Jack's.  However, momentum shifted when Brodie caught Kid Justice with a vicious 360 lariat.  Brodie seemed a bit overconfident, and Kid Justice took advantage by slapping on his straightshooter submission hold.  Brodie struggled to reach the ropes for the break, eventually making it by grabbing referee Mike Champion's shirt for leverage. Seconds later, Brodie caught Kid Justice with a sold Big Boot to the chin, and covered Justice for the 3 count.

Winner by pinfall- Brodie Lee.

-In an episode of Murphy's Pub, Dan Murphy asked Jonny Puma if Puma's hired gun, HC Loc, had failed in his quest to take Matrix out of the tournament.  Puma said that while Loc lost his match to Matrix, Sik Rik's left arm was so   damaged that Matrix cannot be anywhere near 100%. Therefore, Puma felt that the mission was accomplished.

-Rob Sanderson then spoke with the Caesar. The always colorful and maniacal Caesar had a guitar in hand, and told Rob he had a song for him.  While the tune was catchy, the lyrics, which began with references to Spazz (Caesar's "Agent of  Chaos) gradually became indecipherable to the point where Caesar was simply laughing and making bizarre sounds while continuing to strum the guitar.  Strange, indeed.

QUARTER-FINAL MATCH - Jonny Puma vs. Sik Rik Matrix.

Initially, Matrix wouldn't even let Puma into the ring.  When both competitors finally were in, the match surprisingly started as a mat-based exchange of holds, and not the brawl that one would expect from Rik Matrix. About 7 minutes in, Puma finally seized the advantage and began working over Matrix's heavily damaged left arm.  The contest spilled outside onto the arena floor, where Jonny rammed Sik Rik's injured arm into a metal trash can.   While Matrix was withering in pain, Puma climbed one of the palm trees at Pineapple Jack's, and began beating his chest, as if he were Tarzan.  Sik Rik used to opportunity to grab Puma in a waistlock, and while both men were still in the tree, Matrix back suplexed Jonny onto the garbage can on the stage area!  By this time, Referee A. Mollon had begun the ten count.  Matrix staggered to his feet and made it back into the ring at 8, while Puma, still outside the ring, could barely get to his knees by the time Mollon counted to 10.

Winner by countout - Sik Rik Matrix
